Continuous Milling for High-Volume Production

Our Automatic router machine is different from a standard CNC mill. It has an automatic feeding system and a chip conveyor. It is for high-volume production of plates and blocks. The real value of this machine is its continuous operation. A standard mill stops after each part for loading and unloading. Our automatic router feeds the material continuously. It only stops when you need to change the coil or refill stock. The small model has X600/Y400/Z300mm travels. The medium model has X1000/Y600/Z500mm travels. The spindle power is 3.7kW, 5.5kW, or 7.5kW. The spindle speed is 8000 rpm. The automatic feeder handles plates from 0.5 to 50mm thick. The width is up to 400mm. It uses servo-controlled feed length. The table load is 500 to 1000kg. It uses a chain chip conveyor with a coolant filtration system.

The Importance of Chip Removal

The chip removal system is often underestimated. The continuous cutting produces three times more chips than a standard mill. If chips pile up, they accelerate tool wear and scratch the workpiece. Our chain conveyor with high-pressure coolant solves this problem. A customer in Poland made aluminum heat sinks. The parts were extruded aluminum. They were 800mm long and 120mm wide. Each part needed many cooling slots. Our Automatic router machine used special fixtures and the chip removal system. It ran 24 hours a day. The cycle time was 58 seconds. The daily output was about 1500 pieces.

Accuracy and Inspection

The positioning accuracy is ±0.008mm. The repeat positioning accuracy is ±0.004mm. The guideways are high-rigidity roller linear guideways. The machine acceptance process includes the following checks. We check appearance, tools, geometric accuracy, positioning accuracy, cutting accuracy, and overall performance. The warranty is one year. We support OEM orders. Standard delivery is 1 month. Custom orders take 2 months. Payment is 30% in advance. Every Automatic router machine is packed in a wooden case for export.
