Compact Two-axis Working Travel
The 0640Y provides 500 mm of X-axis effective stroke and 270 mm of Z-axis effective stroke, with a published repeat-positioning figure of 0.005 mm. When producing short steel bushings with repeated stepped diameters, these controlled movements support identical tool approaches between cycles.
4 kW Spindle Drive
The spindle operates from 200 to 3,000 rpm through a frequency-controlled drive and an 8M V-belt or synchronous belt. With small-diameter mild-steel fittings, the broad speed adjustment allows the selected cutting speed to be maintained as the tool moves between outer diameters.
Dedicated Coolant and Small Footprint
A 0.55 kW coolant pump delivers fluid to the cutting area, and the complete machine weighs approximately 0.7 tonne. In compact production cells machining short brass or steel components, the coolant flow clears chips from the cutting edge while the small machine mass helps with workshop placement.

Quality Control
Ballscrews, spindle bearings and electrical drive components are checked before assembly. The linear axes are aligned and measured for positioning performance, with laser-interferometer verification included in the published inspection process.
The machine is run without cutting load and under cutting load for at least six hours. Inspection covers servo travel, spindle response, coolant operation and a measured test part; every unit is checked before export packing.
