The CNC gantry machining center is a large-format CNC milling platform with a bridge structure and moving cutting head above the worktable. It is used for machine frames, mold bases, wind-energy components, large valve bodies and welded structures in heavy engineering and industrial equipment manufacturing.

Key Features

Wide Gantry Clearance

Available gantry widths are 1,500, 2,000, 2,500 and 3,000 mm. When a welded machinery base has projections on both sides of its main plate, the column opening provides the access needed for clamping and tool travel around the complete assembly.

BT50 Cutting Drive

The BT50 spindle operates at a stated 6,000 rpm, with 22–37 kW main-motor options. During wide-face milling of carbon-steel welded frames, the spindle and drive accommodate larger face mills and maintain material removal through interrupted weld zones.

Heavy Bed and Guideway Choices

Table load capability ranges from 2,000 to 10,000 kg, with heavy roller linear or sliding box-way configurations. When a large mold base is fixed across the table, the bed and guideway package can be matched to both the static mass and the cutting-force direction.

Custom CNC Gantry Machining Center

We establish the gantry arrangement from overall workpiece dimensions, crane access, clamping space and the faces to be machined. Travel length, bridge width and spindle attachments are configured together to maintain machining access throughout the programmed work envelope.

Quality Control

Bridge level, column alignment and spindle-head squareness are inspected during assembly. The travel of the crossrail and head is checked against the worktable reference plane across the full accessible area.

A representative face-milling and drilled-hole test is performed on a secured workpiece. Datum flatness, cutter positioning and auxiliary head operation are verified before the complete pre-shipment inspection; independent inspection is also available.
