The Automatic Screw Locking Machine is a programmable screw-feeding and tightening system for repetitive fastening operations. It is installed on electronics, appliance and automotive-component assembly stations where multiple screws must be inserted in fixed locations and driven to a defined tightening setting.

Key Features

Blow Feeding for Longer Screws

The air-fed version handles M1.0–M4.0 screws with lengths of 2–15 mm. Where accessible screw holes are arranged in a regular pattern, compressed air delivers each fastener to the driver tip, reducing the separate pickup movement between screw points.

Vacuum Pickup for Micro Fasteners

The vacuum-fed version works with M0.6–M2.0 screws, 1–6 mm long, at a specified pickup pressure of −0.06 to −0.09 MPa. For shallow electronic housings containing small screws, suction pickup keeps the individual fastener at the bit during movement to the hole.

Torque-Controlled Tightening

The blow-feed driver covers 0.05–5 N·m; the vacuum version covers 0.02–1.5 N·m. Closed-loop servo torque feedback monitors the tightening step, so a joint requiring a defined clamp load is not accepted solely because the screw has reached its programmed depth.

Multi-Head Fastening with Precise XYZ Return

The XYZ stage has ±0.015 mm repeat positioning. The air-fed configuration supports 4, 6 or 8 simultaneous driving heads, with locking cycles of 0.5–1.5 seconds per screw. On housings with repeated hole patterns, parallel heads reduce the number of separate travel-and-drive operations.

We match the feeder and driver arrangement to the fastener geometry, design the working jig, and program the tightening sequence and inspection signals for the assembly station.

Quality Control

The feeder, driver mounting and fixture reference surfaces are inspected during installation. Assembly checkpoints cover fastening tools, bit-to-hole alignment and the screw presentation path before powered production trials begin.

Functional verification uses the specified screw and mating part to check feed consistency, bit engagement and tightening results. Fault scenarios are evaluated separately so that a missing fastener, an abnormal tightening trace or an incorrectly seated screw triggers the intended machine response.

The completed machine receives a full inspection before export packing, including electrical connections, enclosure condition, program selection and the finished fastening sequence. Self-inspection and cross-inspection are carried out by assigned production personnel.
