Step-by-Step Cleaning Procedure
Initial Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the electrical cabinet housing and door seals with a lint-free cloth to remove surface dust and oil stains; inspect the seals for deformation.
Internal Dust Removal: Use a vacuum cleaner combined with a soft-bristled brush to remove dust from cable ducts and component surfaces, paying special attention to dust-prone areas such as variable frequency drive (VFD) heat sinks, PLC module ventilation slots, and gaps around relays.
Targeted Oil Stain Removal: For areas with heavy oil accumulation, gently wipe with a lint-free cloth dampened with a small amount of anhydrous alcohol; allow the alcohol to evaporate completely before closing the cabinet door.
Specialized Cleaning of Cooling Components: Remove cooling fans and air filters to clean off accumulated dust; reinstall them in their original positions after cleaning and ensure the fans operate smoothly.
Wiring and Terminal Inspection: After cleaning, inspect all wiring terminals one by one; tighten any loose connections on main circuits and VFD terminals to prevent poor contact.
