Product Overview

The large CNC lathe is a horizontal CNC turning platform with extended workpiece capacity and hydraulic workholding. It is used for mining pins, machine shafts, large couplings, cylinder parts and forged rotational components in industrial equipment, heavy repair and production machining.

Key Features

Extended Swing and Length Range

Published swing diameters cover 360–800 mm, with machining lengths from 500 to 2,000 mm. When a stepped shaft combines a large coupling end with a long bearing journal, the machine can be selected around both the largest outside diameter and the required longitudinal reach.

Hydraulic Clamping for Heavy Cuts

Hydraulic chuck options are 6, 8 and 10 inches, with a stated gripping force of at least 3,500 kg. When the tool removes scale from a forged pin, hydraulic jaw loading retains the blank during alternating roughing passes.

Tailstock-supported Turning

The tailstock has a stroke of at least 300 mm and accepts MT4 or MT5 tooling. During turning of a long, relatively narrow axle, supporting the free end counters radial cutting pressure and limits deflection between the chuck and cutting zone.

Custom Large CNC Lathe

We establish the turning configuration from stock size, finished drawing, workpiece mass and supported length. Chuck gripping, tailstock support and spindle selection are developed together, followed by programmed test machining against the approved part dimensions.

Quality Control

Spindle bearing seating, chuck face alignment and tailstock travel are checked before the working axes are released for production. Clamping pressure and chuck actuation are tested under the specified operating sequence.

Test cuts are made on representative turned diameters to check coaxiality, size and longitudinal straightness. Self-inspection at each assembly stage is followed by cross-checking and complete examination of the finished machine before export packing.
